The official launch of Guild Wars 2 is just around the corner and whether you have bought the game or not, I bet you will be scouring the internet about anything and everything about the game. That's why I am here. Welcome to The Guild Wars Gazette.
Let me introduce myself, I'm Matt and I have been playing MMO's since vanilla WoW and Guild Wars Prophecies. Since then I have tried other MMO's such as LOTRO and DDO though not to the same degree as the WoW and GW and I have been waiting for Guild Wars 2 since it was announced back in 2007. I can't believe it but finally it is almost here. Over the course of the next decade (I'm assuming this game will run for a while), I will be chronicling my adventures in the land of Tyria and beyond. Scouring the world for new and exciting adventures. This sounds just about right as a Saturday morning cartoon.

One thing to note though, this won't be strictly a news feed just to give updates about Guild Wars 2. I will very much have my own opinions but I would very much like a healthy exchange of ideas since I can very much learn from everyone here as well.
